DESCRIPTION: The gall here appears as a tight roll along the leaves of the chosen host with each gall starting green before becoming blotched with yellow and brown with age. The tube created, which may be short or long, contains one or several orange larvae. DISTRIBUTION: Widespread in England and Wales becoming scarcer elsewhere. HABITAT: On the leaves of Osier (Salix viminalis).
